3. Detailed Trading Conditions and Actual Entry
Let’s walk through the process of trading, explaining what each button represents and how to manage positions.
Procedure ①
Decide whether you want to execute a BUY or SELL in a spot trade.
■In the case of Maket
Procedure ②
Select whether to place a market order (MARKET ORDER).
※Market Order:An order placed without specifying a price, allowing you to buy or sell the crypto assets in your SPOT account.
Example:
Open a buy position at 25BTC
1 BTC = $58000.0 (rate at time of purchase)
1 BTC = $59000.0 (current rate)
The price difference is $1,000 per BTC. With 25 BTC, settling the position at the current rate yields a profit of $25,000. The reverse applies to sell positions.
Procedure ③
In Market trading, set how much of your assets you want to use as margin. The more margin you use, the higher the risk.
※You can either manually input the amount or adjust the value using the blue bar below.
Procedure ④
Confirm that the details from steps ① to ③ are correct, then press the indicated arrow to start the trade.
Final Step
Once the display appears under TradingView, your entry is complete, and you have successfully opened a position.
■In the case of LIMIT
Procedure ②
You select a limit order (LIMIT ORDER).
※In this type of order, you specify the price at which you want to buy or sell the crypto assets in your SPOT account.
Example:
Hold a buy position with 25BTC
1BTC = $58000.0 (rate at time of purchase)
1BTC = $59000.0 (specified rate)
The price difference is $1,000 per BTC. If you settle the position at the target rate, you will gain $25,000 in profit. The reverse applies to sell positions.
Procedure ③
With limit trades, set how much of your assets you want to use as margin.
What is Spot Trading?
Spot trading refers to economic relationships between buyers and sellers in financial markets such as stock exchanges, cryptocurrency markets, or FX, where transactions occur at the current market price, or "spot" price. Spot trading can be conducted across any market, and it is considered a universal way to learn the basics of trading without high levels of risk. This makes it an ideal solution for new traders and investors.
In spot trading, investors typically use standard technical and fundamental analyses, including candlestick analysis and data from the order book, to determine the best timing for opening or closing trades within their chosen investment strategy. Additionally, there are specific specifications for order execution that need to be considered, particularly slippage issues in markets with low liquidity. This can affect the quality and speed of execution.
MetaxPro to all users
Trading cryptocurrency for the first time can be nerve-wracking. However, by understanding the market, managing funds properly, and stabilizing your mindset, you can steadily build up assets. Unlike Futures trade, SPOT trade does not allow leverage, which can make it harder to earn significant profits with smaller assets. However, if you are not yet familiar with the market or good at risk control, SPOT trading is recommended. Additionally, since there are no restrictions on holding positions, it is suitable for relatively low-risk swing trades. Let's grow our assets together.
Please ensure that you conduct your own due diligence and have a complete understanding of the risks involved before making any investment decisions.
