Identity Verification Manual

This manual provides the procedures and precautions for identity verification after registering with MetaX PRO.（After creating your account）

■PC

1. Log in to MetaXPRO (https://www.metax-pro.io/)

2.  Click on your username in the upper right corner of the screen

3. Click Verification Incomplete

4. Enter your name and click submit

　※Name input supports alphabet (lower case possible)/Kanji/Katakana, etc.

5. Make sure to read and agree to the guide, check the box, and click OK.

※Tips (as shown in the green box above):

ID Upload Guidelines

- Good Lighting: Use bright and even lighting.

- Avoid Glare: Do not use a flashlight, and ensure the light is not too harsh.

- Focus and Sharpness: Ensure the image is clear and sharp.

- Correct Angle: Keep the document tilt under 10 degrees.

- Proper Margin: The document should occupy 70-80% of the image.

- High Contrast: There should be clear contrast between the document and the background.

- No Obstructions: Ensure no details of the document are covered.

- Front and Back Check: Upload both the front and back of the ID.

6. Select a certificate that verifies your identity

7. Click within the red box to upload a photo (upload a photo of the front side).

※If the camera cannot be accessed from the PC and the identification certificate data is not stored on the PC, click “can not access camera?” and scan the QR code with the cell phone to perform the operation.

                                                     

After clicking in the red frame above, the following diagram will be displayed.

Select the identification certificate and click “Open”.

8. Click “confirm” after uploading photos.

9. Click in the red frame to upload a photo (upload a photo of the back side).

Select the identification certificate and click “Open”.

10.  Click in the red frame to upload a photo.

If the authentication of the “Identification Certificate” fails five or more times at this point, go to Step 15.

11. Perform facial recognition. However, if you're using a PC without a camera, click “can not access your camera?” and complete the process using your mobile phone.

※For PCs with camera functions, go to step 13.

12.  If you clicked “can not access your camera?”, scan the QR code below with your smartphone.

13. Facial recognition. Match your face to the green frame and click “I'm Ready.

14. Upon success or failure, the following image is displayed.

■If PC steps 4-10 and 11-13 fail more than 5 times in total, the following procedure is used

15. After clicking “Verification Incomplete” in Step 3, the following screen will appear. Select “Nationality” and “Document Type” in the red frame from the pull-down menu,

For “Name” and “Document Number,” enter the correct information in the text boxes, and then click “Next.

16. Upload a photo of the front of the identification card itself and a selfie of you holding the identification card in your hand, then click Next.

17. Click “submit” if you are satisfied with the final confirmation.

18. When the following screen appears, your identity verification is complete, so wait for the results of the screening.

19. If the result is “Approved” or “Rejected”, you will receive an email to the email address of the account where you logged in (when you registered for identity verification) (or a short message if you registered your cell phone number).

※The following email notifications for both the PC and iOS versions will be sent only when an application is submitted after step 15 (when 5 or more failed attempts have been made).

In case of disapproval, the reason for disapproval is stated as shown in the red box below, and the applicant's identity will be confirmed again after confirming the reason.

20. The status of the review can be checked atVerification Incomplete on the screen in step 3.

　　Approved: Verified

　　Not approved: “Failed” “Approval failed

■iOS/Android

1. Download and open the MetaX PRO app from the App Store or Google Play Store

Tap your icon when it opens.

2. Tap “Authentication

3. Enter a name and tap “Submit

　※Name can be entered in alphabet (lower case OK)/Kanji/Katakana, etc.

4. Select a certificate that verifies your identity.

5. Upload a photo by clicking in the red frame (upload a photo of the front surface)

※For driver's license

6. Click in the red frame to upload a photo (upload a photo of the reverse side).

If the authentication of the “Identification Certificate” fails five or more times at this point, proceed to Step 15 for the PC version.

7. Facial recognition. Match your face to the green frame and click “I'm Ready.

If steps 5-6 and 7 fail a total of five or more times, proceed to step 15 for the PC version.

8. If the result is “Approved” or “Rejected”, you will receive an email to the email address of the account where you logged in (when you registered for identity verification) (or a short message if you registered your cell phone number).

※The following email notifications for both the PC and iOS versions will be sent only when an application is submitted using the PC version's procedure 15 or later (when 5 or more failed attempts have been made).

9. The review status can be checked in Authentication on the screen in step 2.
